1.1 These Terms and Conditions govern all services provided by TANGENT EVENTS e.U. ("we," "us," "our"), including but not limited to ticket sales, event management, and related activities.
1.2 By purchasing a ticket, attending our events, or utilizing any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
1.3 Events may be organized and marketed under various brand names (e.g., "2k17 Vienna"), but TANGENT EVENTS e.U. remains the legal entity responsible for all operations.
2.1 TANGENT EVENTS e.U. organizes and manages events at various locations, including but not limited to clubs, concert halls, private venues, and outdoor spaces.
2.2 We reserve the right to change event details, including venue, timing, and line-up, as required by operational needs. Such changes will be communicated to ticket holders at the earliest opportunity.
2.3 House rights are reserved to the organizer. Entry may be refused in cases including, but not limited to: uncontrollable behavior, excessive intoxication, inappropriate attire, failure to meet age requirements, or any other reason at the sole discretion of event staff.
3.1 Ticket purchases are processed through external ticketing platforms, including but not limited to Pretix, Eventbrite, and similar services. The use of these platforms may be subject to their respective terms and conditions.
3.2 Payments for ticket purchases are securely processed via third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe). By making a purchase, you agree to their payment terms.
3.3 Ticket prices are quoted in Euro and include VAT where applicable.
4.1 Tickets are delivered electronically via email upon purchase confirmation. It is your responsibility to provide accurate contact details.
4.2 Tickets may be refunded up to 7 days before the event date unless explicitly stated otherwise. Refunds are processed through the ticketing platform used for the purchase.
4.3 In case of event cancellation, a full refund will be provided. In case of event rescheduling, tickets remain valid for the new date; refund requests may be submitted if the new date is not suitable.
4.4 We are not responsible for technical issues related to third-party ticketing platforms or email delivery systems.
5.1 Guests attending our events agree to behave in accordance with the law and respect the venue, staff, other attendees, and neighbors.
5.2 TANGENT EVENTS e.U. is not liable for any damage caused to the venue or its surroundings by guests. Guests may be held personally liable for any damage they cause.
5.3 Guests are responsible for their own actions and may be held accountable for any complaints, disturbances, or legal issues arising from their behavior.
5.4 TANGENT EVENTS e.U. is not responsible for personal belongings lost, stolen, or damaged during events.
6.1 TANGENT EVENTS e.U. is not liable for damages arising from slight negligence, except for breaches of essential contractual obligations.
6.2 In cases of essential obligation breaches due to slight negligence, liability is limited to foreseeable, typical damages.
6.3 TANGENT EVENTS e.U. is not liable for delays, cancellations, or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, strikes, or unforeseen circumstances ("force majeure").
6.4 Attendance at events is at your own risk. We take reasonable precautions but cannot guarantee absolute safety.
7.1 We take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and smooth operation of our events. However, attendees participate at their own risk.
7.2 Guests must adhere to all venue-specific rules and guidelines, including safety protocols, age restrictions, and dress codes.
7.3 We reserve the right to remove any guest who violates these terms or venue rules without refund.
8.1 By attending our events, you consent to the use of your likeness in any photographs or videos captured for promotional purposes. If you wish to opt out, please notify event staff before or during the event.
8.2 Photos and videos may be published on social media, websites, and other promotional channels.
8.3 All intellectual property related to our events, including logos, names, and marketing materials, remains the property of TANGENT EVENTS e.U.

We share data only when necessary: with ticketing platforms (Pretix, Eventbrite), payment processors (Stripe), and authorities when legally required. Data is not transferred outside the EU without adequate safeguards.

10.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Austria, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
10.2 The exclusive jurisdiction for all disputes is the competent court in Vienna, Austria.
10.3 If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
11.1 Any claims against TANGENT EVENTS e.U. must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the event date.
11.2 The maximum liability for any claim shall not exceed the ticket price paid by the claimant.
12.1 TANGENT EVENTS e.U. reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be communicated on our website and/or ticketing platforms.
12.2 By continuing to use our services or attending our events, you agree to be bound by the updated Terms and Conditions.
12.3 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and TANGENT EVENTS e.U. regarding the subject matter herein.
